Which solution is right for your business?
FGE offer a range of fixed line solutions, which enable anything from a client simply reducing their annual spend on outbound calls to replacing entire telecoms infrastructure. These include the following:
CPS (carrier pre select) this allows a client to route there calls automatically via an alternative supplier. This requires no changes to existing hardware or lines and you have the benefit of keeping all existing numbers. The call traffic will still go other the BT network and all maintenance on lines remains with BT open reach.
Line rentals, FGE are able to not only route your call traffic but we are also able to bill you for your line rentals. We are able to reduce ongoing rentals for analogue, ISDN2 and ISDN30 lines.
- Analogue lines, these are conventional telephone lines which allow one call inbound or outbound at any one time. They are commonly used for fax, pdq, alarm red care and running ADSL broadband on the line.
- ISDN2, these are lines commonly used in small business or even some home offices. They allow two calls either incoming or outgoing at the same time.
- ISDN30, the same concept as ISDN2 but you are able to connect up to 30 channels which allow thirty calls at the same time.

Business broadband, we offer a range of broadband solutions, which offer a high-speed “always on” connection that’s available to 99% of the UK population. We are able to offer up to 24mb per second download speeds and business level contention ratio’s.
- Contention ratio, this is the maximum amount of connections allowed sharing a single broadband connection at one time. For example a home broadband may have a ration of 50:1, so at peak times there could be up to 50 users all using the same bandwidth. We are able to offer ratio’s of 50:1, 20:1 or even 1:1.
SDSL, this is broadband connection that FGE offer with the same upload/download rate. This is ideal if you are planning to use your connection for VOIP.
SIP Trunks, this will allow you connect a large range of existing PBX’s/telephone switches to IP networks. And will give you the benefits of routing calls other IP without the large upfront costs of replacing all your existing hardware.
